The BBC will launch it’s latest retail unit this summer in Norwich’s Forum shopping centre. Trading on over 2,000 sq. ft, the store will sell the most comprehensive range of BBC related products including books, video, DVD, audio and toys.
You’ll take responsibility for the store’s success by driving business, maximising profitability and maintaining tight control of costs, stock levels and operational standards.
With proven experience in retail management you’ll be able to motivate a team to deliver the highest standards of customer service. A strong communicator, you’ll also be numerate with a flair for merchandising and display. Previous experience of opening a new shop would be a definite advantage.
All positions require a sound knowledge of the BBC’s broadcast output, history and publishing range as well as good PC skills and the flexibility to work changing work patterns, including weekends. Ideally, we’re looking for people with experience of book, music or entertainment retail, who also possess a good knowledge of EPoS systems.
