The BBC will launch it’s latest retail unit this summer in Norwich’s Forum shopping centre. Trading on over 2,000 sq. ft, the store will sell the most comprehensive range of BBC related products including books, video, DVD, audio and toys.
Closely supporting the Store Manager you’ll take responsibility for delivering a high standard of customer service, overseeing stock control and deputising for the manager in their absence. You’ll also lead by example in supervising the sales team.
As well as supervisory experience in a retail environment, you’ll need plenty of drive, enthusiasm and initiative.
All positions require a sound knowledge of the BBC’s broadcast output, history and publishing range as well as good PC skills and the flexibility to work changing work patterns, including weekends. Ideally, we’re looking for people with experience of book, music or entertainment retail, who also possess a good knowledge of EPoS systems.
